Junagadh, September 11: In an intensified drive held by officials of the Forest Department, two people were arrested from Girnar North Range, allegedly, for illegally entering and damaging the forest. The men have been identified as Babu Bharwad, a resident of Baliawad village, and Puna Bhikha of Rawat Sagar village. They have been fined Rs 4,000 and Rs 1,700 respectively. “The drive will continue,” said B T Chadhasania, Deputy Conservator Of Forest (Girnar Range).
