Berry agreed to transfer 45-50 pornographic clips to the cell phone memory card of the decoy, using bluetooth technology, for Rs 500.

As soon as the deal was finalised, the police team raided the shop and seized the computer, card reader and the phone data cable. All the three accused were arrested.

Berry is single and is a resident of B-Block in Sarita Vihar. He used the internet and other easily available porn film CDs to prepare MMS clips.Berry confessed that he had been running the mobile shop for the last almost 4-5 years.

‘‘He first started downloading MMS clips for his known customers but later started extended it to others,’’ said Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Anil Shukla.

Soon after Puneet Berry and his associates were arrested, Kalkaji police organised a meeting with area Resident Welfare Associations to caution them about such networks. A similar session was also held at Deshbandhu College this morning.

Several of Berry’s customers were college students and youngsters from the area.
