Pentavox Herbals to hold conference at Romania
Express News Service

Ludhiana, May 4: Pentavox Herbals is going to hold an ayurvedic continuing medical education (CME) programme at Romania. The CEO of the company is Ludhiana-based Ayurvedacharya Dr Pradeep Nagrath.

Dr Nagrath said that the Pentavox Ayurvedic Research Foundation has designed this CME exclusively for medical professionals. Company officials added that this is the first time that an Indian ayurveda company is holding a CME at Romania.

According to a statement issued here, Pentavox has earlier also been coordinating with Holland-based European Institute of Scientific Research, which provides ayurveda education. Students of the institute regularly visit India for learning its practical aspects.

Dr Nagrath added that the course is specially designed for medical professionals, who want to learn the basic skills of ayurveda. The course features various theoretical and practical aspects of ayurveda, ayurvedic diagnosis, treatment, panchkarma, dietetics and medicines.

‘‘Enthusiasm for this course is so much that against the targeted registration of 35 doctor-students, we already have a standby list of an equal number for candidates for the second batch,’’ he claimed.

Associate professor and head of Panchkarma Department Dr Sanjeev Sood of Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, has gone to Romania as the first ambassador for this mission.
