Chandigarh Joint Director of Sports Dr J.P.S. Sidhu told the Sportline, "We have received applications for the post of a coach from some Arjuna awardees and experienced international rowers. The applications are under consideration and a new coach will be soon appointed." "The Sports Department will soon take some vital steps to make water sports popular in the schools of the city so that we can get some good performers in sub-junior and junior category also," Sidhu revealed.
