Mumbai, January 11: Indian Oil helps out
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) employees’ have pledged Rs 2.11 crore to the Prime Minister’s National Relief fund.

The IOC has also set up refuelling points at strategic locations to ensure seamless supply of fuel to support relief work.

Refuellers have been airlifted from Kolkota and Vizag for this purpose.

Employees donate
EMPLOYEES of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited have donated one day’s salary, amounting to Rs 38.35 lakh. In addition, the chairman and managing director have donated Rs 5 crore to the Prime minister’s National Relief Fund to carry out relief for the tsunami victims.

Bank donates

Union contributes
THE National Railway Mazdoor Union of Central Railway has contributed Rs15 lakh to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund at a function held on Friday.

Relief hampers
THE Relief and rehabilitation team lead by Rehana Undre, vice-president of the Royal Educational Society has distributed hampers of Rs 10 lakh containing medicines, clothes, blanket, mattress, bed sheet and strawmats, in Cochin.
