The Amaraiwadi police on Wednesday arrested three persons for allegedly stealing and buying manhole covers from the Hatkeshwar area. While two of them are youths from slum areas, the third accused is a scrap dealer.
It was insufficient power supply to the detonators that saved several lives in the city last month, as none of the bombs planted here exploded, according to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials.
